Hi, my name is Lisa and I live in a small village near Blackpool in Lancashire, with my husband and two sons.
Having always worked, following the birth of my second son in 2013, I became a stay at home mum.
I love my boys dearly, but have never been able to just “do nothing!”, even though I am busier with them than I have ever been!
I began by buying a small embroidery machine and sewing machine thinking I could have a hobby and make things for my home and family. I soon decided to sell a few things via social media and sales took off.
I soon realised that if I wanted to continue I would need better equipment, not only to be quicker but I wanted to increase my product range to include Cubbie Bears and be able to provide bespoke team and work wear.
I then purchased the industrial embroidery machine which I now use and So Sew Precious was born.
It has to be the best decision I’ve made, as it allows me to be a Mum to my boys and work at the same time. I work around them from home so I can have the best of both worlds.
My business grows every day and I am always researching new items and techniques to create one-off items that are personal to the recipient.
I only stock high quality items which I would be happy to receive myself and strive towards excellent value for money for my customers.
